Hello Thespians! So this is my first blog and I have to admit that I don’t have much practice with this, but bear with me and we will pull through!! So I just started my last year of high school, WOOOHOOO, and I am super excited, I can not think of any better way to finish my high school career then as your ITO. As well we are off to a great start in my theatre program, and have life altering news!

It has been really strange for me to walk through the halls and see all the new faces and to know that my grade is the oldest. I have always had the crutch of thinking that “Oh that’s a senior’s position to fill,” and now realize that that is me! It’s both exciting and intimidating knowing that everyone, especially the freshmen, is looking to my class for leadership.

Though something exciting about being a Senior and an ITO and a troupe officer, is that I get to help train and inspire the freshmen and show them what you can accomplish in Theatre and how it can change your life for the better.

Speaking of those freshmen, they jumped right in when we had our fall auditions for “Big River” and some of them got casted in lead roles! YAY THEM! It’s always a comforting feeling when you know that you are leaving your second home to capable hands. I am super excited for what this year entails!

Finally, the moment you have been waiting for! I hope that you’ve diligently read up to this point, or you just saw the “life altering news” and you scrolled down to this point, its ok! I found out this past week that I will, for the third time, be a proud Uncle!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This new baby will add to my already two nieces, now don’t get me wrong I love them to death and another niece would be great, but I am hoping for a nephew to balance out the genders a little bit, and my brother and his wife agree.

So it was great to have a chance to talk to you guys, don’t hesitate to add me on FB, message me, whatever is cool! I hope you guys have had a fantastic start to your school year and we will catch up soon!

P.S. Forgive my awful grammar, it’s one of me weak points in life.
